Prayers for Salvation

I pray that _____________ would confess with her mouth that Jesus is Lord, and that she would believe in her heart that You have raised Christ from the dead.  Cause _____________ to call on Your name, Lord, and save her.  Romans 10:9, 13

I pray that _____________ would put her trust in You and never be shaken.  Psalm 125:1

Put a new spirit in _____________.  Remove her heart of stone and give her a heart of flesh.  Cause _____________ to follow Your decrees and keep Your laws.  Let her know that she belongs to You, and that You are her God.   Ezekiel 11:19

Prayers for Wisdom and Discernment

Prayers for Self-control, Diligence, and Self-Discipline

Father, please surround my daughter with righteous friends who will speak truth to her and rebuke her when she’s wrong.  Psalm 141:5

Lord God, we acknowledge that You are the one and only God.  Help our family to love You with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength.  Let Your Word always be on our hearts.  Help us as parents to impress Your Word on our children.  We ask that our kids would find it easy and natural to talk about it when they’re at home, when they’re away from home, and as they begin and end each day.  May Your Holy Word be ever before them. Deuteronomy 6:4-9

Lord Jesus, help my child to always obey me as she would obey You, so that Your will might be accomplished in her. And help me not to exasperate her as I parent, teach, and discipline her.  Ephesians 6:1-4

Lord, please make my child worthy of Your calling and equip her for every good work You have for her.   2 Thessalonians 1:11

Father, Your eyes roam to and fro throughout the earth, looking for those whose hearts are completely Yours so You can strongly support them.  Please help my child to have a passionate heart for You; please give her Your strong support as she seeks to honor You. 2 Chronicles 16:9

Lord, I pray that my daughter will rejoice and be glad when she has the opportunity to worship in Your house.  Psalm 122:1
