We’re excited about our Mentoring Ministry and the impact it can have on your life. The concept of mentoring is taught throughout scripture and specifically for women in Titus 2. Our hope is to develop a mentoring lifestyle, mindset and relationships among the women of our church which will be honoring to our Lord and workable for our ladies.
You can be involved in the Mentoring Ministry in several different ways:
Your first step to becoming involved in the Mentoring Ministry is to attend the Informational Coffee on Sunday, February 24 at 2 pm in the South Campus Fellowship Dining Room. At the Coffee you will learn the joys, blessings and responsibilities of mentoring. If you decide to become involved . . .
Your second step, which takes place at the Informational Coffee, is to indicate how you want to be involved (mentor, mentee, prayer supporter). Our Prayer Team then asks God to direct us how to match the three of you together.
Your third step is to attend the Kick-Off & Training Night on Thursday, February 28 at 6 pm where you will receive encouraging training and meet your 3-member mentoring team (mentor, mentee, and prayer supporter). Attendance at both the Informational Coffee and the Kick-off & training Night is required to participate in the mentoring ministry.
Your fourth step is to then enjoy and grow in your mentoring relationship over the next six months.
Your last step is to attend the Pot-Luck Celebration, the official ending of your commitment time, in the Fall (date TBD). We believe you will surely experience Psalm 145:4 which says “One generation will commend Your works to another; they will tell of Your mighty acts.”
So please plan to join us for our Mentoring Ministry Informational Coffee on Sunday, February 24 at 2 pm. It will definitely bless you… and it might change your life forever.
