Whitesburg Student Ministry encourages students to be Christ followers and to love God's Word. Students experience biblical, practical teaching to help grow their faith and equip them with the truth. Camp ‘19, July 7-11, is a week full of powerful worship, teaching, small groups, and fun activities for students in grades 6-12! This week at Ocoee Ridge in Tennessee will provide an experience with a combination of God's beautiful creation and an unforgettable time in Christian community. Cost is $200, with a $50 non-refundable deposit, and July 1 is the registration deadline.

LIFE Groups

Sunday morning Life Groups are a great way to get connected with other students from all walks of life, while experiencing strong Biblical teaching every week. Life Groups are offered at 8, 9:30, and 11 am in the Student Center.

Whitesburg Student Music meets on Sundays at 5:30 pm in the choir room during the school year. Students in grades 6-12 are welcome to join us this fall; choir begins August 18. Click link below for the special Summer 19 schedule.

Students at Whitesburg have opportunities to hang out and grow spiritually on Wednesdays too! 

Our Believe series, focusing on what we believe, will gather on and off campus during the summer. For off campus nights, students meet at 6 pm at the designated location. For on campus nights, meet at the South Campus at 6:15 pm upstairs in The Zone. Get the schedule below.

Dodgeball Tournament

Dodgeball Tournament Saturday, June 15, 9:30 am at South Campus Gym. Divisions for middle & high school girls, and middle & high school guys. Cost is $5 per person.

Guys 50/100

50/100 is for High School guys, Monday nights from 7-9:30 pm at the South Campus! It is 50 minutes of bible study followed by 100 minutes of basketball.

Guys Hangout

Guys Hangout is for Middle School and High School guys and features pizza, games, and Bible study with Tyler! 1-4 pm on Tuesdays at the South Campus.

Girls Hangout

Hangout for middle and high school girls is a place to connect, eat, and have fun together while growing closer to God! 1-4 pm on Thursdays at the South Campus.

Disciple Now

Disciple Now (D-Now) is a full weekend event for students in grades 6-12. Students will be challenged and stretched to reach and exceed their potential through the speaker and worship experience. D-Now is usually in January or February.


Student Ministry Summer Camp is a week full of worship, teaching, Bible Study, and so much more for students in grades 6-12! Students will experience a combination of God's beautiful creation and unforgettable time in Christian community.  More information about Camp '19 is at the top of the page.

Choir Tour

During Spring Break, Whitesburg Student Music students, staff and volunteers spend their week serving others out of town. This week is full of service projects and concerts in the communities that they visit. For details about Choir Tour, contact the Music Office at 256-704-5678 ext. 229.

Graduate Recognition

Graduate Recognition Sunday is in May, and honors graduating seniors and their families. There is a meal for graduates and their families during the weekend, and graduates are recognized in the Worship Service.
