Whitesburg Student Ministry encourages students to be Christ followers and to love God's Word. Students experience biblical, practical teaching to help grow their faith and equip them with the truth. D-Now Weekend is an awesome worship and discipleship experience for all 6th-12th grade students.

Sunday morning Life Groups are a great way to get connected with other students from all walks of life, while experiencing strong Biblical teaching every week. Life Groups are offered at 9:30 and 11:00 am in the Student Center.

Each week we meet upstairs at the South Campus in the Zone for Waypoint! This worship experience is designed for 6th-12th grade students to connect with Jesus and friends. It’s a night filled with games, Bible-centered discussion, student-led worship, and disciple making.

 Acteens and Challengers

Just one hour prior to Waypoint, Acteens (girls) and Challengers (guys) learn and live out missions locally and around the world. Acteens & Challengers meet 5:15 - 6 pm upstairs at the South Campus.

HS Girls Bible Study

High School Girls Bible Study- Mondays 6:30-8:30 pm at the Horne's house! Dinner is provided and Bible Study is led by Missy Hamner. 

HS Guys Bible Study

High School Guys Bible Study is on Monday nights from 6-8 pm at the Ray's house! Dinner is provided followed by Bible study.

MS Guys Hangout

Mondays 3:30-5, Student Ctr
Guys Hangout is for Middle School guys and features pizza, games, and Bible study with Tyler!

MS Girls Hangout

Thursdays 3:30-5, Student Ctr
Middle School girls Hangout is a place to connect, eat, and have fun together while growing closer to God!

Student Ministry Summer Camp is a week full of worship, teaching, Bible Study, and so much more for students in grades 6-12! Students will experience a combination of God's beautiful creation and unforgettable time in Christian community.

Choir Tour

During Spring Break, Whitesburg Student Music students, staff and volunteers spend their week serving others out of town. This week is full of service projects and concerts in the communities that they visit. For details about Choir Tour, contact the Choir Director at 256-704-5678 ext. 236.

Disciple Now

Disciple Now (D-Now) is a full weekend event for students in grades 6-12. Students will be challenged and stretched to reach and exceed their potential through the speaker and worship experience. D-Now is usually in January or February.

Graduate Recognition

Graduate Recognition Sunday is in May, and honors graduating seniors and their families. There is a meal for graduates and their families during the weekend, and graduates are recognized in the Worship Service.
