Spiritual Arts is a discovery study of practices we need to learn if we want to live life as God intended—full of great joy, deeper intimacy with God, and an exciting impact in the lives of others. Using Paul’s letter to the Philippians, Jill Briscoe uncovers eight “spiritual arts” that Christians are called to practice regularly: contentment, intimacy, suffering, simplicity, ministry, tranquility, humility, and harmony.  With patience, wit, and probing questions, she challenges the faithful to a different ethic and a more active, focused way to follow Christ. This Bible study has reading and light homework.

Do you sometimes have a hard time knowing what God is saying versus what others are saying? This Bible study will teach you how to recognize and know the voice of God—His language, character, and tone of voice—and how to discern His voice in the midst of chaos. Through His voice, God challenges us, encourages us, and teaches us. By growing closer to Him through His Word, spending time in prayer and responding in obedience, you will be able to discern God’s voice from the voice of strangers.
