March On Mission!
James 1:27 challenges us to "visit widows and orphans" as we seek to honor God and live out our faith. Join us this March as we serve the widows in our church and partner with the Alabama Baptist Children’s Homes to help children in our state!
Did you know there are approximately 6,000 children in Alabama’s foster care system?
Not everyone can adopt or foster a child, but we can all pitch in to help. For the month of March we will be collecting diapers, baby wipes, toilet paper, paper towels, and napkins that will help care givers meet needs for children in foster care. Look for the banners and barrels in the lobbies at main and south campuses.
Did you know that we have over 200 widows in our church family?
In addition to the above collection, this March we will also coordinate with our Life Groups to connect with and serve this amazing group of people in our church!
