We believe all church members should have a clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord and that they should be baptized by immersion as believers in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
A person seeking membership at Whitesburg Baptist Church will meet with a pastor, staff member, or trained decision counselor who will hear their testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and determine their baptism status. This meeting usually happens on a Sunday morning at the conclusion of our 9:30 or 11 am worship services, but it can also happen by appointment during the week, or at a Connect Lunch.
Connect Lunch is an informational meeting about the ministries of Whitesburg Baptist Church and what it means to be a member. Lunch begins at 12:15 pm, right after 11 am Worship & Life Groups. Kids are welcome and our time together will be around an hour. There is no cost to attend, but registration is required at the link below.
