Women on Mission (WoM) is a missions discipleship group of the Woman’s Missionary Union designed to equip adult women to become active disciples of Christ as they live on mission for Him. This year our Whitesburg WoM group will meet monthly at the South Campus in the Hearthside Room. Bring your lunch at 11:30 to fellowship with others and meetings begin at 12:00. Click the link below to learn more!
Pastor Darryl will lead a Daytime Bible Study for adults who prefer to get out during the day. Each lesson will be a duplicate of the study he leads on Wednesday nights and will follow the same spring schedule as Equip Groups.
He will teach this semester from 1 John on LIFE IN CHRIST: The Life God Intends, the Life You Long For! The letter of 1 John may be the last apostolic letter to the church. Last words are always important. In this letter, John provides the practical application and the moral implications of the gospel. The Gospel of John tells us how to have life in Christ; this letter tells us what the life of Christ includes. In many ways, it reminds us what we have, when we have Jesus. The study of 1 John will help you find the joy, victory, awareness, and assurance each of us need in life.
Disciple making Groups are gender-specific, closed groups of generally 3-5 people who prioritize spiritual transformation and mutual accountability for the purpose of being disciples who make disciples. These groups normally meet from 6-12 months with the expectation that each member starts their own D-Group. For more information about D-Groups or reserving a space for your group, contact David Loyed at 256-704-5678, ext. 220 or click here to email.
Equip Groups are short-term courses designed to deepen your knowledge on your spiritual journey. These classes are for particular stages of life, men, women, marriage, parenting, and life situations. Adult Equip Groups meet from 6:15 - 7:15 pm. Click the link below for Equip Group details and registration.

Adult Choir and Orchestra are spectacular opportunities to serve the Lord in praise and worship. The Choir and Orchestra meet on Wednesday nights from 6:15 - 8 pm to prepare for Sunday Worship. Anyone who wants to serve in praise and worship is invited. Extended childcare is available upon request for birth – grade 5. Learn more at the link below.
Join us for food and fellowship each week before Equip Groups! Wednesday night meals are at the main campus from 4:45-6 pm in room 106 (old fellowship dining hall). We will have a catered dinner from local vendors each week. Our Wednesday night meals are provided as a way for our church family to eat together and attend Wednesday night activities in person. Meals are $7 per person, with a $25 household maximum. Any meals remaining after 5:50 pm may be purchased for take-out. No reservations will be required. The menu will be provided the week prior to the dinner and in the Weekly Email Update; the link is below.
